Salem Dolls (Formerly Pixel Toonz)

Oh I hate the doll I entered in this contest with a passion. I don't think I have it on my computer anymore but if I do, it's dusty and old and hidden, like it should be. HAHA! My first contest entry and I got a creativity award! YAY!

The second contest I've ever entered. Not shabby eh?! I was super surprised when I got this. Brandon was telling me to enter his contest so he could close it. HAHA! So I did not expecting anything at all. And Wehhhh... To my surprise, I get 3rd Place!

On the Verge

This contest was another fun one at On the Verge. My first contest entry there, in fact! :D All the entries were stunning but even though I didn't get a place, I had a lot of fun and that's what counts. I did a doll of a half dragon knight and a warrior priestess like girl. It was actually the beginning of my sweet couple; Christian and Selene.

The Unforgiven

I what?! I was really surprised when I got this award in my inbox. There were a bunch of beautiful entries for Authurian inspired dolls. I decided on a doll somewhat like Morgaine Le Fay. I was really inspired by this contest because I do love the stories of King Arthur. One of my favorite books is "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley.

On the Verge

A participation award for a super fun contest an On the Verge. You had to doll a movie couple and I decided on Miroku and Sango from Inu Yasha. I really liked the doll then but I think I might have to redo it. The more I look at it the less I'm thrilled with the folds on their colthes.

Sabraelle's Garden

A participation award for another fun and creative contest. Participants had to impliment a certain number of items that represent autumn to them and doll the items together in a seamless fashion. I had fun doing this contest and used my Poetic base. Hehe!

On the Verge

^^' I was very surprised when I got this award. There were so many fantastic entries but I'm so proud and happy. Hehe! I feel all warm and fuzzy! LMAO! There is also a super amazing participation award but I'm always lacking for space so I can't showcase it... *sniffles but I have it saved on my pc so I can oogle at its beauty all day long. rofl!

House of Sylven

For a super fun Tim Burton inspired doll contest. ^^' I wasn't expecting anything but YAY! I got cutest doll! I'm so excited and honored. Thanks!

WOHOO!!! I was so superly excited when I got this. Blah to sounding repetitive but, I wasn't expecting anything at all because all the entries submitted were gorgeous. But I placed!!! *Does a happy dance! LOL! And if you're like, who's Jae-Cie.. ^_^ It's another one of my nicknames. ^^' It's my initials of my first and last name, elaborated a bit. LOL!

I was so excited when I got this in the mail. There were so many gorgeous entries, I wasn't expecting anything. This was such a fun contest to do. I'll have to do more dolls on this base, it's adorable. ^^'

House of Sylven

I really loved the concept of this contest and it was really fun to do. We had to combine two characters from two different anime series and see what, if they had a child, that child, would look like. So, I picked Tasuki from Fushigi Yuugi and Sailor Pluto from Sailor Moon as my two characters. ^_^' I probably would have chosen Tamahome, but I like him with Miaka so much... I couldn't split them up. Hehe! In any case, YAY! I got third! ^_^

I'm so happy! I was so excited when I recieved this award in the mail. I truly wasn't expecting to win anything but I did! And this was such a fun contest to do. I admit before the entry my muse was practically dead, but this helped to revive it. ^_^

I had the wonderful honor of being the botm at FF for the month of July. Seeing all the fantastic dolls that people did on my base was really an amazing experience. I thank everyone who participated, it was a blast seeing the creativity that came from each and everyone of you. ^_^' Okay, this is the end of the mushy stuff. lol!

Another really fun contest. I went a little over board on the base edit concept. lol! I just had to have legs so I added legs to the base. LOL! And to my surprise, I got third! And I seriously didn't think I'd get anything, because all the entries were drop-dead gorgeously, fantastic! But, yay! *blush*

In the cake decorating contest at FF, I tied for third! *does a happy dance* I'm so proud of my cake. Yum! I wish it was real. I'm craving something sweet right now. LOL!

Hehe... I haven't posted this doll on the site but I have my secret reasons. :P Anyway... It's Christian and Selene in an embarassing moment. The guys were being mischeivious and planted a pet snake just as Selene was going to bathe and she ran out of the water half-bare. hehe! And yay! I won second! ^_^' I tied with Orchideis whose doll was fantastic!

Epp! *dances* I got my very first Site of the Moment Award! Thanks so much to Laura. I'm really honored and well it really helped to brighten my day which was pretty wet and cold, literally!

^_^' Oh wow! Two awards! I'm so excited and really happy. I wasn't even sure I would have a chance to enter because inspiration was lacking as well as time. But I just couldn't resist. I just really loved the concept. And it was so much fun. I'm beginning to sound repetitive but I wasn't expecting anything at all because there were so many great entries... I mean from artists whose work I drool over daily.

Not an award per say but a very kind gesture. *hugs Laura* Sis, Steph and I were the only one that entered her contest so she made use each a beautiful doll to thank us. I thought, it would be more appropriate here instead of in the Gifts section because it was for a contest.

Oh *Dances* You should have seen my face when I saw this. All the entries were super fantastic and I wasn't expecting anything but wow... I can't believe it. *Happy Sigh*

The Last Gate

We had a Ball over at The Last Gate for New Years and Steph and I decided to go together. There was an animal and plant theme so I decided to go as a lion/dandelion, while Steph went as a crane/lily. It was loads of fun and everyone made such beautiful collabs. But yay! We got 2nd place!

A cute little participation award from Brittani's Dark Faerie contest, which was heaps of fun to do.

The Last Gate

Sawcat and I got paired up by through Cupid's lucky draw for The Last Gate's Tragic Couples collab contest event. We did Pyramus and Thisbe and got third place. It was a three way tie for third but the mods at the forum voted to break the tie. ^_^' and we won... Hooray! But as you can probably tell from the tie, all the entries were super fantastic.

I still can't believe it but I got first place in a Medieval/Rennaissance contest over at Heather's Dollz Design. I entered my character Willow. ^_^ Many Thanks!

The Magic Garden (Site Closed)

What a beautiful surprise especially after a long period of having limited internet access and having to weed through (I kid you not) 356 emails in my inbox, only four emails of which, actually weren't junkmail. I can't tell you how happy I was to hear I was Haich's site of the month for August but I regret not seeing it sooner and having not been able to thank her for the great honor sooner. Thank you so much for the wonderful pleasure!

I'm so proud of this one and the award is so nicely made. We were supposed to make a cupid that isn't the usual depiction of a cherub baby and of course loving Greek Mythology, I decided to depict the beautiful youthful man that is Cupid. hehe! And I placed! *bounces around happily*

A really beautiful participation award from Dalliann's Princess Of Contest. It was so much fun coming up with the idea for the doll and creating something that was in an element and genre I really love and admire.

Sarah asked me to go with her to the Black, White, and Red ball at FF. We could only use shades of black and white, with one red accent so it was quite a challenge. We got third place for our duo entry. YAY!

Pande asked me to go with her to FF's Spring Buggy Ball and it was so much fun. I don't think I've ever seen so many beautiful and colorful bugs then I have doing research for the ball so I could create a doll that was inspired by this challenge. Hehe! And it's a challenge *LOL!* because if you know me... you know that bugs and me don't get along too well. And of course, all the beautiful, colorful bugs that inspired all the other people to make their creative, colorful array of dollies. YAY!

For the Totally Talented You Contest where you had to create everything on the doll including the base. I had a lot of fun with it and I let my muse go wild because I really wanted to push myself and I think the doll came out pretty good so I'm super proud of my award.

Sarah/Sawcat and I decided we dress up for Halloween together and decided to go as a pair of nuts since we're kind of nutty in real life. lol! And we got some pretties in return!
